Weston House, Holborn

Weston House

The existing building was a dated 1960's office block, wedged between ornate and historic neighbouring buildings. Weston House, Holborn, was not attracting the new business or rental opportunities that reflect it's extensive office space and central London location.

A full internal "Cat. A" refurbishment and reconfiguration provided floors of clean minimal office space with dynamic linear lighting to highlight and enhance the 'H' shaped plan. Three unused roof terraces were opened up with access from office floors, and a series of roof gardens were designed to utilise this valuable outdoor space and secure additional rental returns.

The key refurbishment areas were the cluttered reception, stairwell and lift core. Tricks we learnt from our extensive retail experience were used to create a dynamic entrance design to lead and guide visitors to the reception and lift core.
