LEA Network

The Postal tube network, once the communication highway of London, became a relic of the past. But this amazing infrastructure holds the key to being reborn, repurposed to become the World’s first quick response Emergency Tube network.

The Postal network linked East and West London, often sited near to National Rail networks for Post distribution; this existing infrastructure asset could offer a congested London an Emergency services life line. A hub to assist paramedic crews, to speed up response times and emergency patient transit.

A connection highway linking key specialist emergency team staff from NHS Hospital hubs throughout London.

London and the UK have a long history of creating World firsts.

Today we unveil the London Emergency Artery, LEA, the World’s first underground emergency network.
